Hi folks, In my initial post about the 4th of July weekend line up at the theatres I said that the Sit & Vue would be open the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and the 4th. And that the Night-Sky would operate the 1st and 2nd only. I also indicated that the 4th of July celebration would be on the 4th which is a Monday. I've gotten quite a bit of feedback from folks that would prefer to have the celebration on Sunday night, because Monday is a day off for many. So here are the biggest changes. The annual 4th of July celebration will be on the 3rd, and we are going to do it at the Night-Sky, instead of the Sit & Vue. The main reason for this is because Night-Sky is in an area that we can (assuming there isn't a ban do to fire danger) actually shoot a few fireworks off. It's going to be a limited live display and we are using money made from the concessions at the Sit & Vue to purchase them. Please do NOT bring or set off your own fireworks at the theater, this will be cause for automatic ejection.
All Friends of the Sit & Vue are welcome at the Night-Sky. Please be aware of the following things though. The Night-Sky has a few working speakers still in the yard and also broadcasts on AM 650, there is no FM sound there. Also dogs are welcome but must be on least and shouldn't be afraid of fireworks. As always alcohol is not permitted at either theatre.
New 4th of July schedule:
Sit & Vue: showing movies Friday 1st, and Saturday the 2nd, Closed Sunday the 3rd, open Monday the 4th, with a special double feature for the occasion.
Night-Sky: Showing Movies Friday 1st and Saturday the 2nd. The Annual 4th of July celebration will be held here on Sunday the 3rd, the programming will remain the same with the exception of a small live Fireworks display. Monday the 4th the Night-Sky will be closed.
