#1. Just a quick reminder that Saturday the 22nd will be the annual all night movie night / tent camping in the yard.
- Yard will open at 7PM
- Preshow will start at dusk, followed by the movies
- The last movie will end about at dawn, at that time we all crash in our tents.
- When we all wake up, usually around 11AM I will be cooking a pancake breakfast.
#2. I had someone ask already what to expect for labor day and after. It won't be much different from years past, we will run the same pair of movies Friday, Saturday and Sunday that weekend. After that the double features will be over and we will show just one movie on both Fridays and Saturdays. Also we will go down to just using screen one after labor day and we will be doing that for a few reasons. First attendance always drops off after labor day and second to save wear on the two BOC screens we'd like to get those off their frames and into storage for the winter before the rainy season sets in. I really don't know when we will close for the season. In years past I always closed for the season the first weekend that had rain forecasted for both days, but since the new yard has a covered deck for the equipment, I don't have to worry about equipment getting wet, but I suspect that once the rain sets in few if any will turn out for the movies. So we will close when no one comes out or the rain sets in which I suspect will be about the same time.
#3. There will be two more movie nights at the Night-Sky. He has welcome us to go over there if you prefer the movie he has me show. August 29th and September 12th, both Saturday nights, both will be just one single movie and that will be it. Next year is totally up in the air for the Night-Sky and it's all up to the owner and how he does over the winter.
